A dwarf sits in the dark, surrounded by candles. He stares at a large lever, its metal handle beckoning to be pulled. His eyes are filled with doubt. Should he pull the lever? What if something bad happens?

But his curiosity overpowers his prudence. The dwarf hesitates no longer, and pulls the lever with all his might.

Immediately, the candles extinguish, plunging the room into utter darkness. A moment later, the dwarf hears a loud rumble, as if something huge and metallic was being pulled out of the ground. The dwarf smiles and whispers, "It worked."

When his eyes adjusted, the dwarf saw a massive metal machine filled with intricate mechanisms, with lights and screens on the wall flickering to life.
The dwarf looked around the dimly lit room in wonder.
"It finally worked," he said. "I pulled the lever, and it brought forth the machine."

As the dwarf stared in amazement at the massive machine he had activated, he felt a sudden chill down his spine.

Behind him, a huge pair of pincers had grasped his neck, dragging him backwards away from the machine.

"No," the dwarf cried out. "I were so close! Let go!"

A massive scorpion, the size of a small car, had grabbed the dwarf with one of its many pincers. The dwarf screamed in terror, as the scorpion tore at his flesh and sucked out his insides while chittering these words:

"This dwarf goes hard"
