One day, a man found an old dusty lamp in a cave. He cleaned it up and a genie appeared, ready to grant the man's wishes.
"I can grant you a wish," the genie said.

The man stood there for a moment, thinking about what he would wish for.

"That's a very kind offer," the man said. "Before I make any decisions, however, I would like to know what kind of limitations there are on your powers."
"There's no limitations whatsoever," the genie said with a broad grin.
"Really?" the man said. "So you can do literally anything that I wish for?"
"Of course," the genie said. "Just say the word and it shall be done."
"Hmm, this is difficult," the man said. "There must be a catch. What's the twist?"
"There's no twist," the genie said. "No catch, no downside, no monkey's paw effect. It's just me granting you a wish, no strings attached."
"I see," the man said. "But if I can have any wish granted, I want to make sure my wish can't be used against me in some way. Can I ask for a demonstration?"
"Of course," the genie said. "What would you like me to demonstrate?"
"How about you give me someone who loves me?" the man said.

The genie thought for a moment, then a smile spread across his face.
"I know just the woman for you," he said, snapping his fingers.

Suddenly, a woman appeared in the cave, sitting next to the man. She had a glow about her, and her eyes were filled with love as she looked at the man.
"This woman loves you with all her heart and soul," the genie said. "She is truly your soul mate, and she will love you and cherish you until the end of time."
The woman's loving gaze did not waver as she looked at the man.

The man sighed, a bittersweet smile on his face. "Thank you, genie, for bringing me the love of my life. Now there's a wish I'd like to make."
"Of course," the genie said. "What is it?"
"That wish is for the woman you just summoned to go away."

The woman looked shocked as she disappeared into thin air. The man turned to the genie.
"See that, genie?" he said. "I asked for someone who loved me, but I never asked for them to stay. And that's why there's always a twist, always a catch."

The genie chuckled and shook his head.
"You clever humans," he said. "Always finding loopholes in my deals. But you're right, that was well played."
He snapped his fingers again, and a stack of gold coins appeared in front of the man.
"You deserve a prize for being so clever," he said. "These coins are yours, to do with as you please."
The man smiled, and tucked the gold coins away into his pocket.
"Thank you, genie," he said. "I appreciate your generosity."
The genie nodded, and disappeared in a cloud of dust.

The man left the cave with a sense of satisfaction, his heart warmed by the knowledge that he had outsmarted a genie. He was also pretty happy about the gold coins, of course.
But what did the man do with the gold coins? That's up to you to imagine.
