A joke was being told at a party. It made no sense and no one laughed. No one understood the joke, or even its structure.
Suddenly, the party stopped and time itself seemed to slow to a crawl.
One person, filled with determination, screamed at the heavens: "I refuse to let this joke go on any longer!"
The party guests all started laughing hysterically, their eyes tearing up and their ribs aching from the intense laughter. The joke was over.
