A man walks into a hat store and immediately sets his sights on a particularly large hat. The salesman sees his customer's interest and goes to assist him.
"Oh, sir, you have chosen quite the hat," the salesman says, a sparkle in his eye.
"It's a large hat, alright," the man replies, running his fingers along the brim.
"I can see that it fits you like a glove, though," the salesman continues, smiling proudly.
"It fits me like a hat," says the man, somewhat confused.
The salesman lunges at the man, pulling a knife and stabbing him violently.
The man bleeds out on the floor, the salesman standing over him with a crazed look in his eyes. He then steps out of the hat store, leaving behind the man's lifeless body.
Later, the man's corpse is found by a passerby who alerts the authorities. The salesman is apprehended and charged with murder, his motive still a mystery.
The strange case is plastered all over the news, leaving people around the world with more questions than answers. How did the salesman become so deranged? Why did he murder the man in such a brutal way? And what did he mean by his last words?
