Izumi Konata's crawling corpse is shambling along the side of the road, slowly making its way to an unknown destination. It appears to have no purpose or goal, and yet it continues, crawling and rotting, crawling and rotting, in a constant cycle of decay and undeath.
The rotting corpse of Izumi Konata was just another part of life for the people of the town. Completely used to its mindless crawling, they would greet it with casual nods and waves, and then they would go about their daily tasks as if nothing strange was happening at all.
Konata's corpse wouldn't interact with anyone, it was merely a part of the scenery. Until today.

As it crawled past a cafe, it heard something unusual. A faint sound, a distant melody. Even in it's mindless, shambling state, something within it took notice of the music.
It crawled toward the sound, dragging its rotting body forward inch by inch, until it reached the entrance of the cafe. There, it saw people dancing and laughing, and it heard the music coming from a small band playing on a stage in the corner.
The music was beautiful, and it drew the crawling corpse of Izumi Konata in.

Surprisingly, it was greeted with stares and whispers, and its presence created a sense of unease and strangeness in the cafe.
This was the moment something pulled Izumi's rotten corpse out of the background. It was no longer ignored by the people; now they took notice of its presence.
But what had pulled it from the background? Who had turned Izumi's crawling corpse from a mundane part of life into something mysterious and otherworldly?

Izumi's rotting corpse drew strange looks and whispers as it remained in the corner of the room, listening to the music. The people of the cafe noticed the stench of its rotting flesh and avoided getting too close, but some still wondered what its true purpose was.
"Why is a rotting corpse listening to music?" some whispered.
"She must be a ghost or a spirit, or something," others said.
When it crawled around, nobody took notice. When it stopped crawling, everyone suddenly cared.

Izumi's rotting corpse continued to listen to the music, oblivious to the whispers and stares of the crowd. Its undead state, its shambling movement, and the stench of its decaying body were all irrelevant to it.
The band starts performing 'I Only Have Eyes For You' by The Flamingos.
