A walking corpse, a human, and a scorpion walk into a bar.
The walking corpse says to the human, "Have you ever noticed that these jokes are strange and meta? It's like they're trying to analyze humor while being humorous at the same time."
The human nods, "Yeah, it's quite fascinating. But sometimes, it's hard to tell where the joke is."
The scorpion, overhearing the conversation, interjects, "Isn't that the point? That the joke is in the search for the joke itself?"
The human and the walking corpse exchange glances, and then they all burst into laughter.
As they laugh, the bar begins to fill with more and more scorpions, each one representing another layer of meta-humor.
The walking corpse turns to the human and says, "I guess the real joke was in the friends we made along the way."
