A frog and a scorpion are playing chess in a dimly lit room. The scorpion is winning, but the frog is putting up a good fight.
Suddenly, a spider descends from the ceiling and lands on the chessboard. "Checkmate," she announces, as she moves one of the pieces.
The frog and the scorpion look at each other, puzzled. "But you're not even playing!" protests the frog.
The spider smirks. "Exactly. The game was rigged from the start."
