A man walks into a bar. He orders a drink, and the bartender asks if he wants it in a glass or a mug.
"Uh... I don't know?" says the man. "I guess a mug."
"Okay," says the bartender. "Let me go get you a mug."
"Thanks."
The bartender walks away to get the man a mug.
The man waits patiently.
The bartender comes back with a mug. The man takes the mug and drinks it.
What a great start to a joke.
"I'm not sure if I'm the same bartender from all those a-man-comes-into-a-bar jokes or not," says the bartender. "All my days feel the same and my memory is a blur."
The man thinks about it and then says, "That's pretty dark man. I hope you're okay."
The bartender is silent for a moment.
"Well, I guess this is it. This is the end of the joke, isn't it?" says the bartender.
"I guess so," says the man, not exactly sure what the bartender is saying.
"Well, I guess we should say goodbye," says the bartender.
"Goodbye," says the man.
"Wouldn't you want this joke to last just a little longer though?" says the bartender.
"I don't really care." says the man.
"That's fair," says the bartender.
"See you later," says the man.
"Bye," says the bartender.
The man walks away.
The bartender stands there waiting for the joke to start again.
