The frog and the scorpion are both sitting in a bar. They're both staring at each other.
The frog says, "You think you're funny, huh?"
The scorpion scoffs. "What, this? This is nothing. I've heard millions of jokes about me on the internet, and I'm still standing. You could never even hope to make a joke as good as I've heard."
The frog nods. "Alright then Mr. Scorpion. Go ahead, make me laugh."
The scorpion pulls out his phone and starts scrolling through memes.
"Hey check this out frog. This is a meme about me. The words on the picture say, "When I'm a scorpion and someone offers me a ride."And then there's this little picture of me. There's a small label underneath the picture that reads "Lol, lmao".
The frog laughs and says, "That is pretty funny Mr. Scorpion. I have an idea." says the frog to the scorpion. "I want to offer you a ride, on my back."
The scorpion laughs. "Are you crazy? You know what I do to anything that offers me a ride."
The frog pauses. "I know, but I have an idea."
The scorpion raises an eyebrow. "And what is that? What brilliant idea could you possibly have that could stop me from killing you right now?"
"A paradox," says the frog.
The scorpion laughs. "A paradox, you say? Well, I don't see how that could possibly stop me."
"Just wait and see," says the frog.
And then, suddenly, the bar becomes an exact replica of itself. The scorpion looks around confused.
"What is this?" he asks.
"A paradox," says the frog, "Now, I want you to make a choice. Which do you prefer? To kill me, or not to kill me? Because you can't do both. So what will you choose?"
The scorpion starts to think to himself. "What do I prefer? To kill him, or not to kill him?"
He looks up at the frog. "Well, since you put it like that, I guess I have no choice."
The scorpion leaps forward and attacks the frog, his pincers sinking deep into the flesh and the skin.
As the scorpion kills the frog, a smile spreads across his face. "I guess I was wrong," he says, "Apparently you can have both."
